Edges soiled, foxing on back side and margin of frontis., margins soiled sometimes. Uncut and almost unopened. Bound with leather back over marbled paper boards, with leather spine label.

1902年に、はじめてシェイクスピア「戯曲全集」ファースト・フォリオの所在目録を編んだ、シドニー・リー (1859-1926) による注釈がついた「戯曲集」です（第１巻にリーのサイン入り）。 １巻に１作品が収められ、各巻の冒頭に、ラッカムやラファエル前派の画家 John Collier、F.C. Cowperなどが描いたカラー口絵がついています。また各巻の解説は、リー、ダウデン（Dowden, Edward）など文学研究者だけでなく、スウィンバーン、ジェームズ（Henry James）など、小説家・詩人たちも手掛けています。
